About us
The Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU) is a 25-bed facility providing secure inpatient treatment, rehabilitation and care in a contained environment.
Our clients are typically difficult to engage in treatment with behaviours that, in the absence of a stable, structured environment, can put themselves and the community at risk.
Our services
We provide the following services:
- Secure facilities with staff trained on how to maintain a safe environment
- Comprehensive individualised treatment and care
- Regular reviews to assess and monitor your progres
- Support to identify your goals
- Care for patients who are admitted to hospital involuntarily under the Mental Health Act
