The rich history of Austin Health is one that holds philanthropy and generosity at its core. Since prominent philanthropist Elizabeth Austin saw a need for increased healthcare in her area, and contributed a donation towards our first hospital premises in 1882, the act of giving has been fundamental to our sustainability and growth.

In the years since that initial spark of giving, Austin Health has grown and we are now recognised for our high-quality, safe, person-centred care, our leading teaching and research and as a place where staff and volunteers are proud to work.

To this day, the donations we receive are so important to our work. There is always more we want to do for our patients and their families, and your gift allows that to happen.. We can purchase additional specialist equipment, provide scholarships, fund innovative research, and extend our patient care initiatives, all thanks to our dedicated supporters.

Donate today.

Making a donation to Austin Health is a practical way to show gratitude for the care you or your family have received. Each donation goes to supporting our staff to help even more people in the same situation. Find out more about our incredible impact and join our community today, whether by donating now, holding a fundraising event, or by becoming an Austin Ambassador.  You can reach us on (03) 9496 5753, or by emailing fundraising@austin.org.au to discuss how you can support life changing work.
