During your clinical placement, a formative and summative appraisal is be completed as part of your ongoing Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) accreditation. You will be provided with ongoing, real-time feedback by either your preceptor or clinical teacher, so the information and feedback provided in the appraisal should not be new to you. If they are not meeting expectations, a learning and support plan will be put in place to support you during this clinical placement and with learning opportunities.
If your appraisal is completed using an online tool it is expected that you as the student will provide access to your preceptor or clinical teacher and guidance on how to use the tool if required. The preceptor can seek guidance from the placement coordinator or education team regarding tool completion for further assistance.
