If you are in hospital, and your care team has been managing your communication and swallowing problems, you may need to attend one of our clinics once you leave hospital. Your care team will organise a referral for you.

Speech Pathology services are available to all Austin Health patients.
Requests from external healthcare providers are considered on a case by case basis for specialist speech pathology services that are not available in the community, such as our swallowing and voice instrumental assessment clinics.
