The North Metro Local Health Service Network (LHSN) Graduate Nurse Program is a collaborative program across multiple health services.
It gives you the opportunity to build your clinical skills in both metropolitan and rural settings, within a well-structured and highly supportive program.
You will complete rotations across two organisations, gaining experience in different care environments.

Seymour / Metro Graduate Nurse Program
- 6 months at Seymour Health
- 6 months at Austin Health or Northern Health
Seymour / Northern Health Aged Care Graduate Nurse Program
- 6 months at Seymour Health
- 6 months at Northern Health (aged care)
What to expect
During the program you will have:
- two six-month clinical rotations
- graduate study days
- supernumerary time for each rotation
- tailored clinical support during each rotation
- access to professional development opportunities
- guidance from experienced clinicians in acute and specialty care
