Graduate Nurse Program

Combined Stream - Graduate Nurse Program

A specialised program has been developed for nurses who are passionate about both general and mental health nursing.

Overview

This program includes:

  • Two structured six-month clinical rotations
  • An acute medical or surgical rotation
  • Mental health rotation
  • Two graduate coordinators to support in each rotation
  • Dedicated graduate support team each rotation
  • Minimum seven paid study days
  • Dedicated supernumerary days and support for each rotation
  • Development of transferable skills
  • Group reflective practice throughout the year
  • Ongoing employment at the end of the program
