Austin Health once again proudly joined thousands of marchers for the Midsumma Pride March yesterday to celebrate solidarity in gender and sexual diversity.

Midsumma Pride March is a day that is important not only to our employees, but also to our patients, families and community.

Austin Health’s participation supports and greatly complements our commitment to being an inclusive and respectful workplace that provides culturally safe health services and care. It also increases our visibility as an LGBTIQ+ welcoming and friendly health service.

Together, under the ‘Austin Health Pride’ banner and wearing Austin Health pride t-shirts, we marched to show our commitment to equality and acceptance.

It was a fabulous day with the sun shining brightly, and with over 25 staff members, including staff, family, and pets, joining us on the day.
