About us
Our scans are used to:
- Find out what's wrong with you
- See if your treatment is working effectively
- Monitor to see if your disease is coming back
Molecular imaging is particularly useful for cancer and neurology patients, and for helping identify people at risk of heart attack.
We have an excellent track record in research in basic science and clinical studies. We have strong links with Austin Health's Neuroscience Department, particularly in epilepsy and psychiatry, and a formal collaboration with the Olivia Newton John Cancer Research Institute.
Our services
We provide the following services:
- Scans to help in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and brain conditions
- Developing and testing new radioactive materials to diagnose and treat disease
- Targeted radionuclide therapy, to deliver high doses of targeted radiation to cancer cells while sparing most normal tissues
