What is My Health Record?
My Health Record is the national digital health record system that stores key health information from your health care providers and Medicare
What Austin Health sends to your My Health Record
Austin Health currently sends the following information to your My Health Record if you have not opted-out with us:

Inpatient discharge summaries are available as soon as they are sent by Austin Health. |

Emergency Department discharge summaries For patients aged 14 years and over |
Emergency Department discharge summaries are available as soon as they are sent by Austin Health. |

Pathology reports For patients of all ages |
Most pathology reports are available to view within 24 hours of the report being finalised. The following reports are available after 5 days:
This delay is set by the My Health Record system. |

Radiology reports For patients of all ages |
All other radiology reports are available after 5 days. This delay is set by the My Health Record system. |

Endoscopy reports Including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP and GI physiology procedures
|
Endoscopy reports are available in My Health Record 19 days after they are finalised. This allows time for your referring doctor to review and discuss the results with you. |
| Pharmacist shared medicines lists | Pharmacist shared medicines lists are available to view as soon as they are sent by Austin Health. |
If you wish to withdraw your consent for this information to be uploaded to your My Health Record, let us know at your next visit or call Health Information Services on 03 9496 5447.
You are also able to opt-back-in if you have previously opted out of having information sent to your My Health Record.
