Human Research Annual Progress and Final Reports

Annual Project Progress Reports (that covers all sites listed on approval) are required for projects with active ethics approval.

Due Date
The anniversary of HREC approval, reports must be submitted within one month of the approval anniversary.

Continued HREC approval depends on
Submission of a satisfactory Project progress report.  The HREC may suspend approval of projects that do not submit a safety report within one month of the approval anniversary.

There are three scenarios for reporting to Austin Health. They are:

  • For projects approved by Austin HREC: Please provide only one Report by submitting the Austin Health Progress Report Form by clicking here
  • For project approved by an External HREC: Please provide the Project Progress Report submitted and approved by the approving HREC to research@austin.org.au.
  • To close Austin Health site: Please submit Austin Health Final Report Progress Report Form by clicking here.
