How are we protecting your information?

The information you provide in this Patient Experience Survey will be safely contained within the Austin Health IT systems.

How will my survey responses be used?

Answers to this survey will also be used for quality improvement and ethically approved research activities.

This information will also be de-identified, that is we will ensure that we remove any identifying information (such as your name) from the survey answer before it is provided to any approved researchers. De-identified information may be shared in the form of a theme report with the North East Health Service Partnership for the purpose of quality improvement.

Do I have to participate in the Patient Portal Experience Survey?

No, participation is voluntary.
