You have the right to know everything about your health.
Overview
Your medical team will discuss your care with you.
You may hear something that is wrong or that you don’t understand. If this happens, please let us know so we can fix it.
At times, instructions may be unclear or confusing. If you are unsure, please ask:
- Us to write down information for you
- Us to repeat information when you have a family member or carer present
- Your family members or carer to ask questions for you
- For an interpreter if English is your second language
Write any questions or messages you have on your communication board. The board is by your bed.
