Come and work in the Intensive Care Unit at Austin Health.
Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a level 3 tertiary unit providing complex, multi-system support to over 2,200 patients per year with a broad range of clinical conditions including:
- Liver transplant and liver failure
- Bone marrow transplant
- Cardiac surgery
- Spinal injured patients
- Neurosurgery
- Thoracic surgery
- General medical and surgical
- Oncology
The department also offers outreach ward support services via the Medical Emergency Team (MET) and ICU Nurse Consultant Service.
