Parking

Parking at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital is:

  • free for the first 30 minutes
  • $4 for between 30 and 60 minutes
  • $5 for between one and four hours
  • $7 for between four and six hours
  • $10 for six hours or more or for a lost ticket (maximum daily rate)
  • $6 flat rate (coin operated machine) for the Bell Street car park

With the exclusion of the Bell Street car park, the car parks run on an automated system.

Remember to take your ticket with you, as you will need to pay at one of the pay stations prior to exiting.

Pay Station locations are marked on the parking tickets. No validation is available at the point of exit.

Concession rate parking

Concession rates may apply for some categories of patients and visitors. Veterans with White and Gold DVA cards are eligible for free parking.

By train and bus

Ivanhoe train station (on the Hurstbridge Line) is a short bus journey away from the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital.

Visitors catching a Hurstbridge line train to Ivanhoe station can catch the number 548 - Kew (Cotham Road) - La Trobe University Bundoora bus from the station to Waterdale Road.
