Alzheimer's Disease Clinical Trials

Are you concerned about your memory or the memory of a loved one?

Do you have a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment or Alzheimer's disease?

If you answered "Yes" to either of these questions, then you may like to get involved in Alzheimer's disease research.

The Medical and Cognitive Research Unit (MCRU) based at Austin Health's Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital is conducting clinical trials to investigate the safety and efficacy of investigational products to slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease.

Participants may qualify if they are:

  • 50-90yrs old
  • Have mild Alzheimer's disease or memory problems that may be symptoms of the condition
  • Have concerns about their memory or have had a family member who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease
  • Have someone to act as their study partner who is able to attend appointments and provide accurate information regarding the participants cognitive and functional abilities - this must be someone that knows the participant well and sees them frequently 
  • English speaking
