What to wear

Wear neat, professional clothes. For example: trousers/skirt and shirt. We usually wear flat, enclosed shoes, long or cropped pants/skirt or dress to the knee, tops that are not revealling. Generally we don't wear jeans, although sometimes staff dress more casually in outpatient settings. Our advice is to take note of what others are wearing. Wearing nail polish and excessive amounts of jewellery are discouraged for infection control reasons.
