Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service

The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) provides a comprehensive service for children, adolescents and their families who are experiencing psychiatric, psychological and behavioural problems.

Our vision is to provide an effective, safe, supportive and responsible mental health service in partnership with consumers, carers and the wider community.

Program areas encompassed by CAMHS include: Statewide Child and Adolescent Inpatient services; community outpatient teams; mobile outreach services; therapeutic treatment including family and group therapy and collaboration with local schools.

CAMHS strives to provide multidisciplinary support in a collaborative manner delivering mental health services to children and young persons with their needs, wellbeing, and safety recognised and protected.
