Austin Health recognises that general practice is the foundation of our health system. We know that if we are to deliver the best outcomes and experiences to our patients, we need to work hand in hand with local GPs who provide holistic and long-term care to our patients in the community.
The Austin Health GP reference group has been established to provide strategic and operational advice to Austin Health staff on a range of issues and will provide guidance on our new GP engagement and education plans.
