The Enhancing Care Together project is an ambitious initiative bringing together stakeholders from mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), and suicide prevention services.
Our collective mission is to promote collaboration, integration, and continuous learning in the eastern and north-eastern region. By harnessing the power of joint reviews, collective learning forums, and a panel pool of experts, we aim to drive improvements in service delivery, ultimately enhancing the quality of care and support provided to individuals.
Utilising joint reviews to holistically address challenges and promote collaborative problem solving for better care outcomes.
Uniting stakeholders to share insights, expertise, and best practices by cultivating a culture of openness, curiosity, and ongoing improvement.
Improving access to independent panel members and giving opportunities for staff to develop incident review skills.
We are currently in a testing and implementing phase of this initiative. From May to October, we aim to share more with a wider group.
We will have an implementation toolkit available in the second half of the year for those who wish to implement a similar initiative. To be made aware when this is available, please provide your details using our online enquiry form.
“The Regional Outcome Review Initiative, ‘Enhancing Care Together’, is a long-awaited development in the sector and one which we anticipate will be applauded by consumers and families/carers. The Enhancing Care Together: Regional Outcome Review Initiative, is a remarkable step forward in local mental health reform, providing a very real opportunity to build consumer and family confidence in the system.”
