Some Aboriginal people can get very sick if they get COVID-19.
We encourage you to get tested if you're worried or have symptoms.
Use our screening tool or call our coronavirus hotline on 03 9496 6606 (8am-8pm, 7 days a week) before coming in.
Only come straight to hospital in a medical emergency. In a medical emergency, call 000 for an ambulance.
Please let our staff know if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

You may get some discounts on medications through the government Closing the Gap (CTG) scheme.
It's important to know that public hospitals are not covered by this scheme.
We have our own program, funded by the hospital.
To get lower cost medications at Austin Health you need to register for our program.

We treat people with Hepatitis C and provide medication free of charge. We cure 95% of people.
You do not need a referral to use our service.
