In line with the Austin Health Clinical Trials Governance Framework, researchers are encouraged to engage at least one consumer for one or more of the following activities:
- Planning and designing of research
- Involvement and input during the running of a research project
- Evaluating the strategies in the project at the end of the study.
Guidance on how to include consumers will be developed shortly. This will include details on how to register as a consumer at Austin Health.
