The Surgery & Endoscopy Centre at Austin Hospital and The Surgery Centre at Heidelberg Repatriation provide same-day surgery and procedures.
The Ambulatory Care Centre provides ongoing tests and treatments to patients who are able to return home that night. Services provided through the Ambulatory Care Centre include infusions of antibiotics and other intravenous treatments, investigations and tests to monitor a patient’s progress and minor day procedures. The Ambulatory Care Centre is located next to the Transit Lounge on level 3 of the Austin Hospital Tower.
To help us reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect and staff and patients, Austin Lodge will be closed from Friday 27 March until further notice. Patients who have a booking will be contacted to let them know. Thank-you for your understanding.
Austin Lodge (formerly called MediHotel) at Austin Hospital provides low cost accommodation for patients who do not need to stay in hospital but would benefit from staying nearby.
