AHRO : Austin Health Research Online

AHRO is our open access repository making the output of Austin Health and Austin LifeSciences researchers publicly available

What is AHRO?

Austin Health Research Online (AHRO) is Austin Health's Institutional Repository. It aims to collect and showcase the research output of Austin Health and Austin LifeSciences researchers. Authors affiliated with Austin Healh or Austin LifeSciences may deposit their publications into AHRO to satisfy the open access requirements of Australian Research Council (ARC) and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).

AHRO is managed by the Austin Health Sciences Library

What do NHMRC and ARC require and why?

ARC and NHMRC require that the outputs of publicly funded research are made available to the public as soon as possible. This means that publications made possible, even in part, by NHMRC or ARC grant funding are made available via an Institutional Repository (IR) within 12 months of the date of publication.

Why should I create an author profile?

An author profile will allow you to showcase all your research in one place. You can choose to add a biography, a profile picture, and link to ORCID and your other online accounts. Learn how to create and manage your author profile
