On the right trach?

"This NCEPOD report highlights the process of care for patients who undergo a tracheostomy or a laryngectomy. The report takes a critical look at areas where the care of patients might have been improved. Remediable factors have also been identified in the clinical and the organisational care of these patients." Source: National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death, c2014.

Developments in health care policy – what’s on the horizon in 2035?

Horizon 2035 aims to provide a short, digestible analysis of international examples which are clearly related to developments in health and care policy in England. The report identifies various concepts and initiatives from six countries: Australia, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Sweden and the USA; resulting in 11 key challenges being identified. These fall under 4 distinct categories: demographic & social; health & social care system design; quality & productivity, and finance & economic.
