Coronavirus screening clinic

If you need to be tested for coronavirus call our coronavirus hotline on 9496 6606 between 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 5pm Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

Outside of these hours please call the Department of Health and Human Services hotline on 1800 675 398.

Our screening clinic is located at Austin Hospital, level 3 Lance Townsend Building. Entry is off Burgundy Street, Heidelberg.

Hours are 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 5pm Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

Help reduce the spread of coronavirus. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before you attend the screening clinic, use hand sanitiser in the hospital, and cough or sneeze into a tissue or your elbow.

Testing for children

Our child and family friendly COVID-19 testing service is now available to children aged 0-16 and their families.

This specialty service is supported by our team of experienced paediatric nurses and doctors.

Please call our coronavirus hotline  before coming as this service is by appointment only. 

This service runs from 1pm-5pm, Monday to Friday, and 10am-12 noon Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. 

Families who attend outside of these hours or without an appointment will be directed to call our coronavirus hotline to make an appointment.
