Screening points for visitors and patients

Screening points at Austin Health entrances

To help us protect staff and patients from the spread of coronavirus, we are now screening all visitors and outpatients entering Austin Health buildings.

Screening points have been set up at building entrances and people are asked to follow directions when they arrive at the door.

Screening will involve answering a series of questions and having your temperature taken. Once you have been assessed you will be given a dated sticker to indicate you have been screened.

You can help us to speed up the screening process by filling in our online Visitor Registration form before coming to visit.

We are also limiting the number of entrances that can be used to enter our buildings to help ensure we can screen everybody coming in.

Visitors/outpatients coming to Austin Health sites will be required to use the following entrances:

Austin Hospital
o  Level 1 Main Entrance

ONJ Centre
o  Level 2 Main Entrance

Repat Campus
o  Centaur Building Ground Floor
o  Front entry to Specialist Clinics, Tobruk Building
o  Flanders Wing, Ground Floor

Talbot Campus
o   Level 3 Main Entrance

We understand these changes will inconvenience some visitors but they are necessary to keep our patients and staff safe.
