All these components are brought together as the Austin LifeSciences (ALS) alliance, whose members include more than 1000 innovative researchers who share our diverse and vibrant research precinct:

The Data Analytics Research and Evaluation (DARE) Centre

The Data Analytics Research and Evaluation (DARE) Centre is an exciting new Austin Health and University of Melbourne collaboration that brings together data scientists and top clinical researchers to study the ‘Big Data' generated by our hospital electronic medical record systems.

The DARE Centre is Austin Health's newest research venture, opening in 2018 and publishing its first research paper in the same year - with much more to come.
