The Department of Molecular Imaging and Therapy is one of the largest and most comprehensive clinical and research programs in Australia.
We offer a full range of diagnostic scans and in-vitro testing. We perform specialised scans for cardiac, neurology and cancer patients, and develop new radiopharmaceuticals for improved patient diagnosis and management. Complex radionuclide therapy and consultation services are also provided.
We have an excellent track record in initiating and conducting research programs in basic science and clinical studies. We have strong links with Austin Health's Neuroscience Department, particularly in epilepsy and psychiatry, and a formal collaboration with the Olivia Newton John Cancer Research Institute.
