Research Week will be held from October 19-23 2009
Research Week celebrates the research undertaken at Austin LifeSciences and highlights the breadth and excellence of our research. It is an opportunity to learn what others are doing, to facilitate new research collaborations, and to encourage new students and junior researchers to undertake a research career at Austin LifeSciences.
In 2009 the Committee is pleased to introduce some new sessions, including “Professors Professing” on Monday, and a symposium in honour of the late Professor Rob Pierce to be held on Friday. Our plenary speaker will be Professor Fred Mendelsohn.
Mercy Hospital for Women will also be participating in Research Week 2009.
Once again several prestigious and highly sought-after prizes will be on offer, including a number of new prizes. Make sure you check the eligibility criteria when applying for these.
Abstract submission will be open from 1 June to 7 August. We hope you will join us once again in making Research Week the highlight of our academic year.
