Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC)

The aim of the ACC is to compliment existing inpatient and outpatient services by providing an innovative and flexible patient centered model of care for those requiring acute management, intervention, and prevention. It provides direct substitution, wellness and prevention, early discharge, next day review, procedures and investigations.

The unit is comprised of the Ambulatory Care Centre / Medi Hotel / Transit Lounge and Elective Admissions.

It operates from Monday to Saturday in the ACC. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm.

Located in the Austin Tower - Level Three.

Hospital In The Home (HITH)

Hospital in the Home (HITH) is a rapidly expanding and supported area in acute health care in Victoria. It is a multidisciplinary program that offers suitable patients the chance to choose where they would prefer to receive their planned acute treatment. This service offers a twenty-four hour seven day a week on call service. HITH Nurse Case Manager co-ordinates the patients care plan and ensure that the appropriate services is organised to meet treatment aims.
