The Speech Pathology service has a strong commitment to the provision of education to Speech Pathology staff, students, graduates, health care workers and the community.
Workshops
The Speech Pathology service regularly provides workshops, inservices and seminars for other professionals.
Staff professional development
We have a strong commitment to professional development and continuing education of staff. Education is provided by department members and guest speakers on a wide range of topics.
Staff regularly attend conferences, workshops and special interest groups. Competency training programs are offered to department members including videofluoroscopy, tracheostomy, and fibreoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES).
