Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program ENT2P 2018

Austin Health offers a twelve month Transition to Practice Program for new enrolled nurses (ENs). This program is designed to consolidate knowledge, skills, competence and guide the transition of enrolled nurses to practice in acute settings as safe, confident and accountable professionals.

Austin Health has an extensive structured clinical support and educator network that will facilitate your transition into the workplace as a novice EN.

How to apply

Are you eligible?

  1. Must have permanent Australian residency
  2. Must be registered with AHPRA from January 2017 and no later than December 2017 

Applications open Monday 4th September 2017 on Austin Health careers link and Seek

Your application to Austin Health must include:

  • One-page cover letter outlining your reasons for applying to Austin Health.
  • Concise CV (of no more than three pages) with relevant employment experience and dates of clinical placements.
  • Current contact details (phone and email) of two professional clinical nursing referees. Referees must have supervised you on clinical placement (3rd Year referee required)
  • Two most recent clinical appraisals (one acute). Include cover page with placement location and dates. Maximum 10 pages per appraisal.
  • Most recent official transcript of academic results with code.

All photocopied documents must be certified by a JP or verified by university stamp.
