Dr Anne Daly

Research Profile

Anne has over 20 years experience as a titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Her key interests are Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), persistent pain, advanced practice physiotherapy and outcome measurement. Anne's Doctoral research involved the validation of an outcome measure for upper limb CRPS. Her Master's research examined how experienced clinicians reach a diagnosis of CRPS. Anne has a number of publications on CRPS. Current projects include representing the Australian Pain Society on the National Reference Group for the electronic persistent pain outcome collaboration (ePPOC) and developing advanced practice physiotherapy competencies for pain services for the Victorian Government Department of Health.

Anne is a senior member of the Austin Health Pain Service. Anne also works as a Physiotherapy and Pain Management consultant to the Health and Disability Strategy Group at WorkSafe and TAC.
