Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring

Ambulatory blood pressure monitors are applied on Level 5 of the Harold Stokes Building, Austin Hospital and the Hypertension Clinics in Clinic A, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital.

Monitors are either applied in the morning (approx 10am) or afternoon (approx 2pm).

Patients need to return the following day when they will see one of our consultants.

Patients should wear a loose fitting top. Allow 30 minutes for the first visit and one hour for the 2nd visit.

Autonomic function testing

Testing of autonomic function occurs on the Ground Floor of the 3KZ block. Patients need to allow 4 hours for the tests.
