The Austin Health Safety and Quality Program is the mechanism through which Austin Health strives for safety and continuous quality improvement in all aspects of the organisation.
This framework is supported by a Safety and Quality organisational structure that seeks to provide a safe environment for all staff and patients and to provide the highest quality of care in a culture of continuously striving to improve.
Austin Health participates in unit, service, organisation, Victorian, national and international safety and quality projects. They work closely with organisations such as Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care and the National Institute of Clinical Studies.
Each year Austin Health produces a Quality of Care Report. To access the latest report, visit the Corporate Communications Department page by clicking here.
