First Consult
Evidence-based answers to clinical questions at the point of care. To use the app, you will need to register for a personal account with Clinical Key while on the Austin network. After downloading the app, select the option ‘I use First Consult and know my user name' and enter your ClinicalKey user name and password.
ClinicalKey helps clinicians rapidly access evidence-based, peer reviewed information. To use the app, you will need to register for a personal account with Clinical Key while on the Austin network or using your Austin email address.

Drug information

MIMS apps
Available as both iMIMS (for iPhone) and MIMS for Android, the app contains a comprehensive list of Australian approved medicines. Read more on installing a MIMS app for your device.
MICROMEDEX Drug Information and MICROMEDEX Drug Interactions are available as mobile apps.

LactMed App
A database of drugs and dietary supplements that may affect breastfeeding.

MedX Secure Messaging System
MedX is a secure messaging system for AHPRA registered Australian doctors, designed to allow rapid communication of confidential medical information between verified medical colleagues.

NSW Trauma App
Developed for NSW Health and NSW ambulance, the app include guidelines and facility information, educational material, medical calulators and evidence-based practice resources.
