Cancer Services

About us

The Austin Health Cancer Centre provides a complete range of services to patients with cancer, across the Austin Hospital and Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital sites.

Clinical Units are:

Medical Oncology (a joint Austin Health-Ludwig Institute Unit)
Clinical Haematology
Palliative Care
Radiation Oncology

They incorporate clinical inpatient services, ambulatory care and support services.

Clinical research is a major focus, and the Cancer Centre is strongly linked with the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research.

Extensive teaching and training for staff and students is also offered.
