Inpatients
Dr. Rajna Ogrin, Podiatrist, is a member of the Diabetes Care Co-ordination Team.
She is available to consult at the Austin on Wednesdays and Thursdays regarding Diabetes -related patient admissions, foot assessments, wound management, education and discharge planning.

DCAS (Diabetes Complications & Assessment Service) Foot Clinic
Jane Tennant runs this Outpatient clinic on Monday afternoons specifically for new patients referred for comprehensive assessment and education regarding diabetes foot health.
High Risk Foot Clinic
The High Risk Foot Clinic operates on Fridays only focusing on management and care-planning of patients with (mainly diabetic) foot ulcers.

Amputee Podiatry
This outpatient clinic is for people who require ongoing monitoring and care following toe(s), partial foot or lower limb amputation. The focus is on preventative and holistic care. Strong links are maintained with the Amputee Rehabilitation Unit at Royal Talbot R.C. and other team members.
Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre
Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre comprises Orthopaedic, Spinal, Neurological, Amputee, and Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation.
Maryanne Gerges is the current attending Podiatrist on Tuesday afternoons.
During periods where the Podiatrist is on leave, patients shall NOT be transported to the High Risk Foot Clinic, Repat campus.
Veteran's Clinic
The Veteran's clinic caters for the Podiatry needs of the Veteran community (Gold Card Holders).
This clinic operates every Tuesday, 9am - 4.30pm, in Room 17, OPD, Repat campus.

Veterans and War Widows who are Gold Card Holders are welcome to make an appointment. Check the booking is in the correct clinic. All treatment is based on clinical need. Transport can be arranged.
Students
3rd and 4th Year Podiatry students from Latrobe University attend placements at the High Risk Foot Clinic on Fridays according to a rostered timetable. Podiatry students (fully and closely supervised) are involved in the treatment of patients in a hands-on approach to developing their clinical confidence and skill.
Podiatry Honour's students utilize Austin Health Podiatry Department resources in their pursuit of research.
Staff
There is unfortunately no podiatry service for the staff of Austin Health.
